Many runners hate to train in the heat of the summer. However, studies have shown that training in the heat will not only help when you race in the heat, but actually improves your performance in cool conditions as well. But be careful and don't overdo it! It takes some time to adapt to warmer temperatures, and make sure you are well hydrated.
